We accept shipped automotive parts for professional laser cleaning at our facility. Instead of sandblasting or chemical stripping, we use a fiber laser to remove rust, paint, gasket material, carbon buildup, and surface contamination from engine components, brake parts, suspension pieces, and other metal automotive parts. The process leaves no embedded media in threads, oil galleries, or ports and produces no chemical residue. Ship us the part from anywhere in the United States and we send it back clean and ready for the next step in your build or restoration.

SHIP-TO PROCESS FOR AUTOMOTIVE PARTS

Send Photos. Ship the Part. Get It Back Clean.

1

Send Us Photos and Details

Take a few photos of the part showing the contamination, and tell us what it is, what material it is made from, and what result you need. We respond with a firm quote and packing instructions. No parts ship until you have an approved price.

2

Pack and Ship

Drain all fluids, wrap the part securely, and ship it to our facility using the carrier of your choice. We provide the shipping address and any specific packing guidance with your quote confirmation.

3

Laser Cleaning

We inspect the part on arrival, confirm it matches the photos, and clean it using adjusted laser parameters for the specific material and contamination. No abrasive media. No chemicals. No embedded residue.

4

Inspection and Return

We inspect the cleaned part, photograph the results, and ship it back to you. The part arrives clean and ready for machining, assembly, coating, or whatever your next step is. No secondary cleaning required.

BEFORE AND AFTER

Aluminum intake manifold. Gasket material, carbon, and surface contamination removed by fiber laser. All port openings, bolt holes, and gasket surfaces clean without media or chemical residue.

Brake rotor hub. Rust and corrosion removed to bare metal. Surface ready for reassembly without secondary cleaning or wire wheel chase.

Flex plate half cleaned by laser showing before and after transformation

Flex plate. Half cleaned by laser showing the transformation in a single frame.

Laser cleaning uses a focused, fiber laser beam tuned to the ablation threshold of the contaminant on the part surface. Rust, paint, gasket material, carbon buildup, and surface oxides each absorb laser energy at different rates. The laser parameters are adjusted so the contamination vaporizes on contact while the base metal, which has a significantly higher ablation threshold, remains unaffected. Unlike sandblasting, there is no abrasive media to embed in threads, oil galleries, water jackets, or port passages. Unlike chemical stripping, there is no acid residue to neutralize or rinse from internal surfaces. The vaporized contaminant is captured by an integrated fume extraction system during cleaning. The result is a part that is actually clean, not just visually clean with hidden contamination packed into every passage the blast media could reach.

Clean Parts. No Media in the Threads. No Acid in the Ports.

Send us a few photos of the part with a description of the contamination and what result you need. We respond with a firm quote and packing instructions. No parts ship until you have an approved price and know exactly what the job looks like.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What Auto Restorers Ask Before Shipping Parts

Intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds, cylinder heads, engine blocks, brake calipers, rotors, suspension components, transmission cases, differential housings, carburetors, valve covers, oil pans, and other metal automotive components. The laser works on steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other common automotive metals. If you are not sure whether your part is a fit, send us photos and we will give you a straight answer.
Use a sturdy box or crate with enough padding to prevent movement during transit. Drain all fluids before packing. Wrap parts individually if shipping multiples. We provide specific packing guidance after you send photos and we confirm the job. For heavy parts like blocks and heads, use a wooden crate or double-walled box with reinforced corners.
Most parts ship back within three to five business days of arrival. Complex jobs or batch orders may take longer. We confirm turnaround time when we quote the job so you know what to expect before you ship anything.
No. The laser parameters are adjusted for each material and contamination type. We test a small area first to confirm settings before proceeding. The process is non-contact and non-abrasive. Threads, gasket surfaces, bolt holes, and machined areas keep their dimensions. That is the entire point of choosing laser over blasting.
Pricing depends on the part size, contamination type and thickness, and the number of parts. Send us photos with a brief description and we will send you a firm quote. No parts ship until you have approved the price and received packing instructions.
Yes. We accept shipped parts from anywhere in the United States. You pay shipping to us, we clean the parts, and ship them back. Return shipping cost is included in the quote unless otherwise noted.

We respond within one business day. No parts ship until you have a confirmed quote and packing instructions.

Shipping automotive parts for laser cleaning eliminates the problems that sandblasting creates for engine builders and restorers. Blasted parts require hours of secondary cleaning to remove embedded media from oil galleries, water jackets, threaded holes, and internal passages. Media that is not fully removed contaminates the engine during assembly and accelerates wear on freshly machined surfaces. Laser cleaning vaporizes contamination without generating any secondary material. There is nothing to embed, nothing to chase out of blind passages, and nothing to contaminate a freshly honed bore or machined gasket surface. The part ships to our facility, gets cleaned, and ships back ready for the next step in the build. No soak tanks, no bead cabinets, no wire wheels, and no hours spent with pipe cleaners and compressed air trying to get the last of the blast media out of places it should never have reached.

The Part Ships Once. It Comes Back Ready for the Build.

Send us photos of the part and the contamination. We respond with a firm quote, packing instructions, and turnaround time. No surprises, no hidden fees, and no blast media packed in the oil galleries when it comes back.
